Obituary of Christopher Kunz

Christopher E. Kunz, a longtime resident of Manchester, passed away suddenly at home at the age of 52.

He is survived by three sons, Edgar, Luke, and Noah Kunz; his former wife, Suzanne; his mother, Jean Kinsley; his siblings, Otto Kunz, Catherine Boulay, James Kunz, and William Kunz; and many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Chris was born and raised in Freeport, New York, and graduated from Marlborough High School in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Following his service, he worked for many years as a chimney sweep before founding a handyman business, which he operated until his passing. For many years, he was involved in local veterans communities as well as the Freemasons and the Society for Creative Anachronism, which he loved.

There will be a graveside memorial Saturday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. in Hillstown Cemetery, 180 Hillstown Road, Manchester.
