Obituary of John "Jay" Ahern

John “Jay” Ahern, 63, of New Britain, CT passed away on Thursday November 1, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT. He was born August 2, 1955 to the late Francis and Marion (Pickett) Ahern of Willimantic, CT. He is survived by his cousins Timothy Malone and Elizabeth Malone of Sylmar, CA and close friend Kathryn Porter of Tolland, CT.  

A special note of thanks is offered to the Hospital of Special Care of New Britain where Jay resided for the past fifteen years, the Department of Developmental Services and New Seasons Inc which provided a warm loving home for Jay for many years.

Jay had a close relationship with his cousin Liz, and he enjoyed their travels and adventures. He enjoyed swimming, movies, computer games, and his comic books.
