Obituary of Mildred I. Richard

Mildred (Ardis) Richard, 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 30, 2018 at Manchester Manor.  She was born May 28, 1922 in New Bedford, MA and moved to Manchester, CT in 1940 with her predeceased husband Normand H. Richard where she raised her family and resided until her death.  Mildred worked at many different companies over her lifetime, retiring from the Operations Dept. of Bank of America.  In retirement she loved to knit, crochet, read and visit with her neighbors on her patio.

Mildred is survived by her children; Normand Gilles Richard and his wife Maureen, Peter J. Richard, and Lisa Glenn and her husband John.  She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Deana Richard (spouse of Peter), son Paul H Richard and his wife Jane (Richard) Marella.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren; Michel Richard and his wife Lisa, Scott Richard and his wife Jackie, Tammy Darrah and her husband Dave, Daryl Richard and his wife Jess, Brendan Richard and his wife Beth, Paul Glenn, Ian Glenn, Matthew (Richard) Marella and Paul (Richard) Marella as well as seven great-grandchildren.
