Obituary of Roger Coleman

Roger Coleman, 86 of East Hartford, CT widower of Jennie (Ferro) Coleman passed away on Saturday November 3, 2018 at home. Born in Manchester on 12/27/1931, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and then worked as a drafting engineer for Sikorsky. Roger is survived by his son Kenneth Coleman and his wife Leann of Charlotte, NC, his step-daughter Pamela Hatem and her husband Edward of Andover, CT, 5 granddaughters Courtney Coleman, Casey Coleman, Jillian, Olivia and Bethany Borgia of Bristol, RI, his nieces Elin Fortin and her husband Raymond J. Fortin of East Hartford, CT, Susan Rowett and nephew Harold Rowett both of Manchester, CT, grand-niece Lorielin Fortin and grand-nephews Shawn and Raymond H. Fortin. Besides, his wife, Roger was pre-deceased by his daughter Kathleen Borgia.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 8, 2018 at Noon at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 W. Center St. Manchester, CT followed by burial at Silver Lane Cemetery East Hartford, CT.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home before the service from 11:00 a.m. – noon.
