Mary Grace Plenzio, 76, of Manchester died Friday (January 14, 2005) at Manchester Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Guiseppi and Mary (Tomassino) Pastore. Mary had been a resident of Manchester for over fifty years and prior to her retirement had been a hairstylist in Manchester for over twenty-five years. She was also an avid supporter of the Disabled American Veterans. She leaves her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Minnie Pastore of Bloomfield; her sister, M. Angela Tierinni of Manchester; and six nephews and their spouses, Peter, her godson, and Donna Tierinni of East Hartford, James and Jennifer Tierinni of Manchester, John Tierinni of Manchester, Michael and Valerie Tierinni of Simsbury, Andrew and Diana Tierinni of East Hartford, Matthew and Paola Tierinni of Glastonbury and Eric and Claudette Gauruder of Manchester. She also leaves many great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and her dear close friend, Lucy Dowling. Mary was also predeceased by her husband Joseph Plenzio, her niece Jane Marie Gauruder and her borther-in-law Joseph Tierinni, Jr. She was known as "Auntie Grace� to everyone and was an avid collector of butterflies and wind chimes. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street, Manchester followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10 am at St. Bridget Church, Manchester with burial in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm.
