Obituary of Roger J. Lagace

Roger J. Lagace passed into eternal rest on October 28, 2018 at the age of 68 with his beloved wife and soulmate of 47 years, Letha Lagace, by his side.

He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Melissa DeMaine with Norman Major, and his two loving grandsons, Jordan and Dylan DeMaine of Enfield, CT. He also leaves his mother Rose Lagace with Clarence St. Amant of Bristol, CT, brothers Victor Lagace with Debbie of Southington, CT, and Larry Lagace with Kathie, sisters Anne Marie Lagace with Seth, and Gracey with Robert Poglitsch, from Bristol, CT. Additional family include many in-laws, aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews located within the United States and Canada. He was predeceased by his father, Lorne Lagace, and brother Donald Lagace. He will be missed by all!

Above all else, Roger was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was looking forward to meeting his granddaughter, Ryleigh Abigail Major, expected to arrive in early 2019. Roger was an honorable Corporal in the U.S. Marines with great values and an excellent role model for many. He retired from Rogers Corporation after 37 years of service.  He was also a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.  As a man of few words, he spoke with meaning and integrity. He and his competitive nature loved playing pickleball, bowling, biking, and walking, amongst other activities.

His family will receive relatives and friends at John F Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center Street, Manchester, CT on Friday, November 2, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Family and friends are invited to gather at 10:00 a.m. for a celebration of his life that will take place at John F. Tierney Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday November 3, 2018.
