Obituary of Claire P. Sheffield

Claire P. Sheffield, 89, of Manchester, beloved wife for over 35years to George Sheffield, died Thursday, September 27^th 2018. Claire was born April 25, 1929 in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Arthur & Ida (Normandin) Payer.  She had retired from Stanadyne in Windsor, CT.  She is survived by her husband George; a daughter Diane Sartori, three sons John A. (Tracy) Donofrio, Richard T. & Anthony A. Donofrio; her grandchildren Anthony Jr. and Catherine Donofrio; her sisters Lillian Wollschlager and Doris Payer, and a brother Wilfred Payer. She was predeceased by her twin sister Jeanette Wollschlager, and two brothers Armand and Rene Payer. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. Manchester on Tuesday Oct. 2nd from 10-11 am.  A memorial service will be held at 11am with interment to follow in Hillstown Cemetery.
