Obituary of Roberta D. Setzler

Roberta D. Setzler, age 80, an 8-year resident of Oak Park, IL passed away on September 6, 2018. Roberta was born in Camden, NJ in 1938. She grew up in “South Jersey” and graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School in 1955. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1982 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in pottery. She married Frederick Bruce Setzler in 1960 in Clementon, NJ.  She owned and operated Mud Slingers Studio in Manchester CT., from 1982 until her retirement in 1999. Roberta moved to Oak Park in 2010. She is survived by her children: Mindy (the late Mark) Kolodziej of Oak Park, IL., Dean (Eileen) of Canton, CT., Todd (Lori) of Plainfield, CT., Glenn of Ellington, CT., Lee of Manchester, CT., and Scott (Ross Norwood) of New Boston, NH. Roberta is also survived by 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick in 1995, her son Greg in 1961, her sister Alda (Arthur) Brewin and her brother Vincent (the late Shirley) Rossi.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 15th at 10:30 AM at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, CT with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home from 5 – 7 PM on Friday September 14th.
