Obituary of Roger H Parks

Roger H. Parks, 80, passed away, Monday, August 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1938 in Waterbury, son of the late Hubert and Lois (Upson) Parks. Roger was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 578th Signal Company. He was an Inventory Control Specialist at Pratt and Whitney prior to his retirement, a Station 2 Volunteer Firemen/Police in Vernon, and a 32nd Master Mason.

Mr. Parks is survived by two daughters Teri Tucker of Manchester, and Sharon and her husband Kevin Gormley of Vernon; five grandchildren Shawn, Kayla, Colleen, Shannon, and Michael; and four great grandchildren Sage, Olivia, Silas, and Iris. He was predeceased by his brother Lloyd Parks.

Relatives and friends are invited Thursday (Aug. 30th) from 4-7pm to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester.
