Obituary of Debra L. Sample

Debra (Rinaldi) Sample was born in Elizabeth City, NC on July 3, 1956 and passed away on August 6^th 2018 after a long battle with COPD.  She graduated from East Hartford High School in CT and went to work at Aetna Insurance for several years.  She was later a Homemaker, raising three children with her husband Roger.  Deb also worked as a home health aide for various agencies.  Deb enjoyed a good cup of coffee and watching game shows with her cat Boogey and her caregivers June & Brianna as her COPD curtailed her outdoor activities for many years.  She adored her children and grandchildren and kept them close in her heart.

Debbie is survived by her beloved children Roger Rinaldi Jr. (Meghann) and grandchild Lucy, Daniella Rinaldi Luchian (Alin), and Raymond John Rinaldi (Amber) and grandchild Anthony Rocco; her ex-husband Roger Rinaldi, with whom she remained friends with until the end.  She is also survived by her brother, Gary Sample (Pam) her sister-in-law, June Sample-Josefiak, nieces and nephews, Kim Sullivan (Ed) and children Rayanne & Jarod, Amanda Feher (Alex) and children Mason & Nieko, Gary Sample Jr. (Carin) and children Robbie, Trey & Brandon;  Ashley Todd (Brian) and son Tyler.  She is also survived by her Uncle Vincent and Doris and many other cousins.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Raymond F. Sample & Louise Scaff Sample, brothers Raymond  (Fred) Sample Jr., and Donald Sample.

The family would like to thank her wonderful care givers, her sister-in-law June and Brianna and the wonderful care by her niece Kim and daughter Rayanne.  Also she had many fond memories with her previous caregiver Shannon.

A private celebration of life is planned with immediate family at a future date.
