Obituary of Lillian D. Urso

Lillian Urso, born 4/4/1934 in New Britain, CT died on Wednesday August 8^th in Vernon.  She grew up in Plainville, daughter of Carmelo and Carmalina (Lentiere) Urso. At age 18, she moved to Mansfield Training School, where she lived until 6/11/1989, when she moved to the Center Road Group Home in Vernon, where she lived until her passing.

She had many friends there, including Edna, Joan, Carmen, Anne, Bridget and many others. She attended the New Seasons Day Program daily where she participated in many social and recreational activities, coffee hour and manicures, being her favorite. She will be remembered as everyone’s friend, grandma and “baby.”

She leaves behind her many friends and caregivers, “Mary Elizabeth” and Cathy at New Seasons and too many others to name, and friends Marcia and Barbara.

She was predeceased by her brother Vincent Urso and his wife Midge of Plainville. She leaves behind her brother Carl Urso and his wife Dolores of Arizona and their children Deborah Kemp, Marie Jirovsky and Carl Urso Jr, nephews Bob Urso and Tim Urso of Plainville, CT and their families.

Funeral Services will be held this Saturday August 11^th at 11AM at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 W. Center Street Manchester, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
