Obituary of Robert F Walsh

Robert F. Walsh, 79, the husband of Jane R. (Roath) Walsh and a true family man, died on Saturday August, 4, 2018 at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Providence, RI the son of Walter and Germaine (Allard) Walsh he had lived in East Hartford for over fifty years. Bob had worked as an iron worker, a construction supervisor and a home inspector. He was a life time member of the Lodge of Elks. Some of the truly wonderful times were had by the Walsh family at their summer home in Holland, MA. Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his children and their spouses Bob Walsh, Jr. of Sarasota, FL, Kelly Sawyer and her husband Jesse of Wasilla, Alaska, Jody McKenna and her husband David of Merritt Island, Florida, Katie Couto and her husband Lee of Andover and Suzanne Adams and her husband Bill of Florida; his grandchildren Lacy, Michael, Dani, Carly, Amber, Chris, Tucker, Savannah, Marc, Ashlee, Abby, William and Patrick; five great-grandchildren and his sister Nancy Birdsey of Rocky Hill. Bob’s family would like to offer a special note of thanks to Ashlee and Bobby for their extra measure of love extended to Bob, Sr. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 9th at 11:00 at the John F.
