Obituary of Robert A Mack

Robert A. Mack, 64, husband of Jo Anne (Dolter) Mack died suddenly on Thursday, August 2^nd in Falmouth, MA. Born in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Andrew Mack and Shirley (Hogg) Mack of Tonawanda, NY, he was a long-time resident of Manchester, CT.

Bob was a CPA and a partner with the firm Harvey & Horowitz, P.C. for 30 years. Bob was a true outdoors and sports enthusiast. He was a proud Eagle Scout who loved to bike ride, fish, kayak, and was an avid sports fan especially for the Buffalo Sabers and New York Yankees. He loved socializing with family and friends, playing cards with his card club, enjoying a fine IPA and vacationing with his wife of 34 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters Erin Mack of Manchester, Katie Fleming and her husband Tim of Glastonbury, his son Scott Mack of Manchester, his brothers and their wives James and Mary Mack of St. Catherine’s Canada, Stephen and Karen Mack of Webster, NY, and his nieces and nephews Ian, Laura, Bridget, Eric, Monica, Audrey, and Carolyn.

Funeral services will be held on Friday August 10^th at 9:15 AM from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 W. Center St. Manchester, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church 896 Main St Manchester at 10AM with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday August 9^th from 4:00 -7:00 PM.
