Obituary of Martha H. Gordon

Martha H. Gordon, 71, a woman who had a tremendous love of family, dogs and her art work, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her home in Manchester, after a brief illness. Martha was born in Hartford the daughter of Henry and Yvonne Hoadley and had been a resident of Manchester for many years. After a career in sales Martha was able to pursue her true passion to run her own business as an animal artist.

She is survived by her daughter Kelly Gordon of Manchester, her sisters Jeanne Cloud and Janet Gagnon both of Branford, her niece Tracy Iasparra and her husband Joe their children Haley, Autumn and Mackenzie and her nephew Bill Ryder. Per Martha’s request there will be no funeral services at this time. Kelly will be holding an open house in late September. All will be welcome. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a local animal shelter or the Best Friend Animal Society (online here). The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of arrangements.
