Dear Emily and Family,
My daughter Denise sent me the notice of John's death and I wanted to send my prayerful condolences. Although it has been years since those days at Assumption when we were in Cursillo together and in faith formation, I have thought often and fondly of you all. Memories do not get erased. They bring joy, laughter, stories—both exaggerated and real. They remind us of our presence even when years and miles separate us physically. So, my sorrow with and for you is real and deep. Know that you have been a blessing in my life. Know that John's never-ending generosity was cherished then and held dearly now.
If you can touch base, I'd love to hear from you. As Julian of Norwich wisely reminds us: "All will be well. All manner of things will be well." That is true, even if it seems so challenging right now.
Shalom and love,
Fran Salone-Pelletier
