Obituary of Mary Peak

Mary (Tierney) Peak, 91, of Manchester the wife of Patrick Peak died Tuesday (June 22, 2004) at her home. Born in Manchester, the daughter of the late John and Julia (Connors) Tierney, she was a life long resident. Mary was living at the Bennett apartments, which formerly was Manchester High School, where she graduated in 1931. She was formerly employed at The Two Hartford�s, Pioneer Parachute, Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and at the office of Dr. David Caldwell Sr. and Jr. She was also an avid UCONN basketball fan. Besides her husband Pat, she is survived by her son Jack Peak of Bolton, her daughter Julie Ann McAuley of Manchester, her grandchildren, Matthew and Patrick Peak, Brian McAuley and his wife Jill, and Kelley Gronda and her husband Rob, and her great-grandchildren, Hailey, Brady and Zachary McAuley, and Emma and Liam Gronda. She was also predeceased by her brothers, James, John and Robert Tierney. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (June 24, 2004) at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street, Manchester, follow by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 am at St. James Church, with burial in St. James Cemetery.
