Agnes (Wilson) Friss, 86, of Manchester, CT widow of the late William Friss entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2013. Agnes was born October 6, 1926 in New Brunswick, Canada to the late Lawrence and Sadie (Wadingham) Carter. She was a resident of Calais, ME before moving to Connecticut. She is survived by three daughters; Susan Pease and her husband Art of Torrington, Linda Gualano and her husband Wayne of Bristol, and Peggy Nadeau and her husband Denis of Manchester. She leaves 8 grandchildren; Connie Wambsgans of TX, Gary Otto, his wife Stacey of AL, Robert Otto, his girlfriend Susan of AL, Steven Bruzik, his wife Mary of FL, Alfred Bruzik, his wife Paula, Michael Rival, his wife Denise, Danielle Nadeau, her fiancé Chris Hulse and Chelsea Nadeau, her boyfriend Alan of CT. She also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Betty Getchell of CT, sister-in-law Vi Carter of ME and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings; Sterling Carter, Edith Cunningham, James Carter and Lawrence Carter. The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Paradigm of South Windsor for her care. Services will be held on Saturday February 9, 2013 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester at 11 am. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 10-11 am. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester.
