Alice (Bertsch) Choquette, of Manchester, beloved wife of Raymond, passed into eternal life on Monday, January 28, at Saint Francis Hospital. Alice was born February 14, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Herbert and Julia (Thompson) Bertsch. She was united in marriage to Raymond Choquette on September 3, 1949. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2004. They were married for fifty-five wonderful years. She is survived by her loving children, Catherine Provencal and her husband Don of Forestville, Joanne Curley of Portland, Mary Alice Nadaskay and her husband Kris of Manchester and Robert Choquette and his wife Erin of Glastonbury; her grandchildren, who she loved with all her heart, Alison and Shawn Gallagher of Cromwell, Karen and Michael Romegialli of Berlin, Gregory Provencal of Farmington, Amanda Nadaskay and her fianceé Joseph Schwork of Manchester, Ryan and Emily Curley of Portland and Alicia and Catherine Choquette of Glastonbury; her beautiful great- grandchildren Megan, Justin and Luke Gallagher of Cromwell and Brianna Romegialli of Berlin; her sister-in-law, Ruth Choquette of Quincy, Massachusetts, her brother-in-law, Patrick Hoey of Amityville, New York, her cousins Rick and Anne Reibeling of Marlborough and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Hoey, of Floral Park, Long Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (February 2nd) at 10 am at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery Glastonbury.
