Obituary of Christine Jaworski
Christine M. Jaworski, 53, of West Hartford, CT died peacefully on January 16, 2013. Christine was born and raised in Manchester, CT. She attended Washington University Fine Arts School in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Metalsmithing. During her high school and college years she was awarded multiple scholarships and awards for her creative writing, metalsmithing and jewelry design, including a year of study at the goldsmithing school of Lahden Kultasseppä Koulu in Lahti, Finland.
Christine was a talented goldsmith and licensed gemologist, and her passion for gemstones and all things sparkling led to the founding of her jewelry design company, Tia Designs. Her spirit will shine on forever in countless rings and necklaces, and we will always remember her when we wear them.
She was predeceased by her mother Rita M. Jaworski. She is survived by her father Edward S. Jaworski and his wife Gail Meyers of Katzenthal, France; her sisters Michelle Lapides and her husband Jim of Brookline, MA, and Grace Parrow and her husband Lenny of Stafford Springs, CT; her brother Anthony Jaworski and his wife Chris of Riverside, RI; her stepbrother Erik Meyers of Ludwigshafen, Germany and her stepsister Meredith Meyers of Bethesda, MD. Auntie Tia will be forever missed by her nephews Adam and Sam Parrow, and her nieces Grace and Hope Jaworski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (January 22, 2013) at 10 am at St. Bartholomew Church 45 Ludlow Road, Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery.
