Obituary of Lucy Cosma

Lucy V. (Blanchette) Cosma of Manchester, Connecticut (born in Willimantic, Connecticut), died January 13, 2013 at the Julian J. Leavitt Family Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She was 95 years old. She was the wife of late Francis Richard Cosma for 45 years and is survived by her two sons and two daughters, Richard Cosma and his wife Marie of Framingham Massachusetts, Dean Cosma and his wife Patricia of Suffield Connecticut, Lucy Milbrandt of Manchester, Connecticut, Diane Marquis of Lebanon Connecticut, and Dan Marquis of Vernon, Connecticut. She was the grandmother of Rene Marion, Danielle Perrina, Keith Thibodeau, David Marquis, Todd Cosma and Christopher Cosma. She was the great grandmother of, Robert Cosma, Alexander Cosma and Aliyah Cosma. Over her long career she worked at the Royal Typewriter, First National Grocery and Sage Allen. She was an avid seamstress, craftsman and loving mother. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday January 16 at 9:00 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center Street, Manchester, Connecticut. Funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 9:45 am. Burial will follow at Saint James Cemetery Manchester, Connecticut.
