Eileen (Campbell) Scallion, 86, of Manchester, the wife of the late John Scallion, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (January 2, 2013) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Manchester, October 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Campbell, and attended Manchester schools. She also attended the Cambridge Secretarial School in Hartford, and worked for the State Housing Authority for 10 years. She is survived by her daughter Carol "Cal" Scallion. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sister Ann Campbell. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home on Saturday (January 5th) from 10-11 am followed by a brief funeral service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
