Virginia B. (Pettit) Montesi, 88, of Manchester, died Friday (December 21, 2012) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Brookfield, she was the daughter of the late Irving Pettit and Marjorie (Waldo) Pettit. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas O'Shea and her second husband Eugene Montesi, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Coppola and her husband Robert of Hendersonville, NC, and Kathleen Morin and her husband Ronald of Manchester; her grandchildren Robert Jr., Kim, Karen, Samantha, Rebecca and Ronald Jr.; her great-grandchildren William and Cameron, several nieces and nephews, and "Max." Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (December 26th) from 4-6 pm at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester. Funeral service will follow at 6 pm Wednesday.
