Obituary of Richard Lines

Richard Peter Lines, 65, was promoted to Glory on September 22, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. Born October 18, 1945, in Hartford, CT he was the son of Florence and William Lines and had moved to Manchester when he was 8 years old. He graduated from Manchester High School then went into the United States Army in 1967, as a musicianist at Fort Dix, NJ. He belonged to the Manchester Salvation Army Corp where he played the drums and was in the Songsters. He was predeceased in death by his mother and father. Richard was the beloved husband of 42 years to Nanette (Carlson) Lines, loving father of 2 daughters, Stacy Lynn and Beth Joanne and 1 son Daniel Lee, all of Manchester. He also leaves a brother-in-law John Carlson and his wife Alma of La Porte, TX, sister-in-law Joanne Gosselin and her husband Lenny of Vernon, 4 nephews, Stephen and Alan Carlson of La Porte, TX, James Schraedley of Manchester, John Schraedley and his wife Melissa of Manchester, his favorite Joanne Kershaw and her husband Shawn of Tolland; 5 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.
