Norma D. Keeney, 91, of Glastonbury died on Tuesday (September 20, 2011) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Norma was born in South Glastonbury the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Moore) Demar. She was a long time resident of Manchester and had also lived in South Windsor before returning to Glastonbury. Norma was especially proud of her family and was a person with a strong work ethic having worked at several local financial institutions. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Ann Keeney of Baldwinsville, NY, her grandson Brendan, her brother Donald Demar, her nephews Peter and Patrick Demar and her niece Mary Lou White. A funeral service will be held on Saturday (9/24) at 11:00 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury.
