Jayne (Crowley) Koffinke, 74, of East Hartford passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Violet and Paul Crowley. She was born on March 2, 1938 in Concord, NH where she spent part of her childhood before her family moved to East Hartford, where she graduated from East Hartford High School. Jayne is survived by her two daughters Karen (Koffinke) Weldon of Henderson, NV and Kathryn (Koffinke) Gastringer and her husband Frank Gasringer of East Hartford; her three grandsons, Jeffrey Weldon, Allen Weldon and his wife Marcie, and Carl Irizarry; her sister-in-law Doris Bunce; two nephews Ronald Bunce and his family of Phoenix, AZ and John Bunce of Manchester; and extended family in New Hampshire and Washington state. Jayne was a hardworking independent woman, caregiver for both of her parents and had over 40 years of dedicated service to Travelers Insurance Co. She loved to go to the beach and travel. She traveled to many places with her longtime companion Peter Robinson, and her best friends Eleanor Hoyt, and Sue and Helen Winarski. The Family would like to thank VNA Hospice and the caregivers of Manchester Memorial Hospital for their support. Calling hours will be held at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Friday (December 14th) from 11:00-12:00 with a service immediately following at 12:00 followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester.
