Obituary of James Toner

James P. Toner, 56, of Coventry, the husband 28 years to Debra (Nolin) Toner died Monday (September 12, 2011) at his home. Born in Manchester, he was the son of James J. Toner and the late Imogene (Warren) Toner, and had graduated from Bolton High School Class of 1972. James was a carpenter with Allied Construction for 28 years. He was an avid fisherman, and had a great love of cooking. Jim also loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. Besides his wife and father, he is survived by his daughters, Danielle Massimino and her husband Jonathan of Manchester, and Megan Toner of Coventry; and his siblings Martha Toner, Paula Waterman and her husband Richard, Elaine Sullivan and her husband Gerard, Joanne Michalak and her husband Edmund, Kathleen Kauffman and her husband William, Mark Toner, Anne Toner, and Roberta Perleoni and her husband Louie. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Delmas and Lois Nolin and numerous extended family members. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester on Saturday (September 17th) from 10:00 am -12:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home.
