Norma R. Sellitto, 92, of Bradenton, FL and formerly of East Hartford died peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Sellitto, Sr. for over seventy years, who predeceased her in 2009. Norma was born in Hartford, CT on March 11, 1919. She was the daughter of the late John and Helen Orfitelli, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by a son, Gary Sellitto and his wife Laurie of Bradenton, FL; a son Joseph A. Sellitto, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Cheshire, CT and a daughter Gayle Sellitto of Manchester, CT. She was also predeceased by a daughter Elayne Nadler, formerly of Manchester. Norma also leaves several grandchildren; Robert Nadler, Jr. and his wife Georgia, Bonnie Nadler, Lori Denorio and her husband Larry, Jennifer D'Agostino and her husband Chris, Todd Sellitto, Allison Sellitto, Kimberly Sellitto and Lyndsey Sellitto. She also leaves her great grandchildren Robby Nadler, Summer Nadler, Logan D'Agostino, Garren D'Agostino, Morgan D'Agostino and Sean "George" P. O'Brien, Jr. She also leaves her dog of eleven years, Bradie. She will be sadly missed. A memorial funeral service will be held on Friday (9/16) at 10:00 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by interment in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8.
