Kenneth E. Carey, 83, the husband of the late Joyce (Clinton) Carey died on Sunday (August 14, 2011) at his home in Rockville. Kenneth was born in Hartford the son of John and Eva (Mathiau) Carey. He was a veteran having served with the Merchant Marines, was formerly employed at Pratt & Whitney and was a long time member of the Crossroads Community Cathedral. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Jerry Langevin of Vernon and Linda and Gerald Bradley of Stafford Springs, his grandchildren Chad Langevin and his wife Jennifer, Kenneth Langevin and Mary, Marie and Jessica Bradley and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Thursday (8/18) from 5-8. A funeral service will be held on Thursday evening starting at 7:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
