Arline D. Griffin, 82, lifelong resident of Bolton, the wife of 51 years to the late Kenneth O. Griffin, Sr. died Sunday (June 26, 2011) at Vernon Manor. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Sipples) Dietz. She was active with the Bolton Senior Citizens, and a communicant of St. Maurice Church. Arline also enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, playing cards, bingo, and was a talented cake decorator. She is survived by her children Mary Ellen Fortin and her husband Lawrence of Williston, VT, Kenneth O. Griffin, Jr. of Coventry, Patricia Ann DiBerto and her husband George of Dunstable, MA, Paul J. Griffin and Lynn Green of Coventry, Donna Griffin of Bolton, and Peter W. Griffin of Coventry; her grandchildren Shane Fortin and his wife Jan, Chad Fortin and his wife Angelica, all of San Diego, CA, Callie Fortin and her husband Dr. Daniel Lustgarten of Burlington, VT and Christopher J. DiBerto of Dunstable, MA; her great grandchildren Derek Bouchard of San Diego, CA and Bennett Lustgarten of Burlington, VT; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her granddaughter Lisa Fortin, and 10 siblings. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (June 30th) at 10 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 am at St. Maurice Church, Hebron Rd. Bolton, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
