Marlene M. (D'Alessandro) Bassett, 68, of Bolton died Friday (May 13, 2011) after a brief battle with cancer. Marlene is survived by her husband of 46 years, Donald R. Bassett Sr., their three children, Sherry A. Bassett, Tracy J. (Bassett) Busque, and Donald R. Bassett Jr. and his wife Dawn, seven grandchildren, Amanda, David, Tyler, Ashley, Brittany, Kelly and Matthew. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Angelo D'Alessandro, her sister Caroline Gibbens, her brother and his wife Eugene and Bea D'Alessandro, her mother and father-in-law Lillian and Joseph McCaughey, her son-in-law Lawrence Busque Jr. and her niece Janet Spong. Calling hours will be on Tuesday (May 17th) from 6-8 pm at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester. At the request of the family there will be no funeral service.
