James Vincent DeMaio of Manchester, who was predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa (Dobek) DeMaio died unexpectedly on Tuesday (December 4, 2012) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He leaves his mother Mary (Wilkos) DeMaio of Hartford and was predeceased by his father James V. DeMaio. He also is survived by his four loving sons James V. DeMaio IV of Hartford, Joseph B. DeMaio of East Hartford, Jonathan E. DeMaio of Hartford and Jacob C. DeMaio of Manchester; his grandson Jordan E. DeMaio and his brothers Scott A. DeMaio of Wethersfield, Mark J. DeMaio of Hartford and Vincent J. DeMaio and his wife Pamela of East Hartford. His true passions were painting, woodworking, wild life photography and antique restoration. He greatly enjoyed family trips to ME, his involvement with "Christmas in April" where he met his wife Terry and his association with the Grace Christian Fellowship Church. Funeral service will be held on Saturday (December 8th) at 10:00 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
