Obituary of Dorothy Pierce
Dorothy A. Pierce, 92, of Manchester, the wife of the late William James Pierce died Saturday (April 9, 2011) at Crestfield Nursing Home, Manchester. Born in Provincetown, MA she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Meads) Avila. She is survived by her children, Arthur Pierce and his wife Nancy of Manchester, and Cecelia Conti of Florida; her grandchildren Arthur Jr., Lisa and William; and her great-grandchildren Heather, Amanda and Taylor. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Ramsey of MA, and Margaret Spor of SC. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son Richard J. Pierce, and her siblings, Cecelia Veara, Arthur, Bernard, Frances, James, and Joseph Avila. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. The John F.
