Margaret L. Daly of Manchester, died peacefully on October 24, after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel E. Daly, her son Lawrence J. Daly and her parents, Michael and Katherine (Fitzgerald) Long, her brothers John and Doc and her sister Eileen. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Daly of Manchester, Daniel Daly and his wife Suzette of Manchester and Michael Daly and his partner Mary Cadorette of Bloomfield. She leaves behind her grandchildren Kara Sherman and her husband Shane of Manchester, Christopher Daly of Killingworth, Sheilagh Zeras and her husband Nick of Concord, New Hampshire, and her great-granddaughter, Scarlett Sherman of Manchester. Margaret was a communicant at St. James Church. She attended St Augustine's School in Hartford and graduated from Bulkeley High School, Class of '39. She'll be remembered by the many friends and relatives who loved her dearly. She and her husband travelled extensively and over the years built homes in East Hartford, Orlando and Cape Cod. She spent her final years in Manchester to be close to her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester at 11:30 am on Friday October 26th.
