Obituary of Thaddeus Gadarowski
Thaddeus J. "Ted" Gadarowski, 94, of Manchester, the husband of Gwendoline M. (Guy) Gadarowski, died Friday (January 15, 2010) at Crestfield/Fenwood in Manchester. Born in Willimantic, he had lived in Manchester for most of his life. Ted retired as a Master Baker from First National Stores. He loved all sports, both as a spectator and participant, especially baseball, golf and bowling. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Paul Gadarowski and his wife Marianne of Willimantic, Carol Behilo and her husband Edward of Moodus, and Teresa Emond and her husband David of Jamestown, RI; his grandchildren Kevin Behilo and his wife Crystal of Stamford, Kerrie Henry and her husband Mark of South Glastonbury, Christopher Behilo and his wife Ellen of Moodus, Jessica Kasevich of Hoboken, NJ, Joshua Kasevich and his wife Jackie of El Paso, TX; and his great-grandchildren Madison and Emma Henry, Alexis and Aidan Behilo, and Jason Kasevich. He is also survived by his brother Peter Gadarowski of Enfield, his sister Catherine Gadarowski of Bethel and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Sophie Gadarowski, and his daughter Patricia Kasevich. Ted's family would like to offer a special note of thanks to all of the staff at Crestfield/Fenwood for their care and kindness. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (January 20th) at 10:30 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Bartholomew Church 45 Ludlow Road Manchester, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Windham. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30.
