Obituary of Robert Rezman

Robert "Bob" Rezman, 79, of Manchester died Friday October 19, 2012 in Manchester. He was the husband of fifty-five years to Martha M. (Poley) Rezman. Born in Hungary, Bob was the son of Karl and Ethel Rezman. He fled to East Germany in 1946 and came to the United States in 1956. He was formerly employed at Mal Tool Co. of Manchester. He was a communicant at the Church of the Assumption and was a member of the German clubs, Leiderkranz Club and the Sangerbund Club, both of Newington. Besides his wife Martha, whom he met in East Germany, he is survived by his son Robert Karl Rezman, his daughters Monica Rezman, Agnes Byrnes, Irene Tomasello and her husband Anthony, and Angela Allen and her husband Glen; his six grandchildren, who were the true pleasure in his life, Jillian and Samuel Byrnes, Dominique and Vincent Tomasello, and Simon and Phoebe Allen and his brother Bela Rezman. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (10/23) at 9:30 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at the Church of the Assumption 29 Adams Street South Manchester with burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
