Irene T. Malerba, 93, the wife of the late John Joseph Malerba died on Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Pittsfield, MA the daughter of Francesco and Genoveffa Cardone she had lived in Manchester for many years. Irene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Vic Berdnick of South Carolina and her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Dorothy Malerba of Manchester; her grandchildren Christopher Ruggiero and his wife Joanne and Steven Dante, her great granddaughter Emily and several nieces and nephews. Irene was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25th at 11:00 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 - 11:00.
