Thomas P. Boyle IV, 29, of Manchester & Hartford, CT, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Hartford on December 17th. Tom is survived by his father & mother, Thomas & Janet Hess Boyle of Manchester, two sisters Catherine Boyle of Manchester & Sara Boyle of Queens NY, and many loving relatives and friends including his Aunt Terry & Uncle Tom Riggs of South Windsor and their daughter Lindsay, his Aunt Cathy Shema of Largo, Florida, Aunt Susan & Uncle Geoffrey Hess of Simsbury, Aunt Julie & Uncle Peter Hess of Missouri, as well as cousins Mike, Christina, Stephen, Carrie, Matthew, Nigel & Brittany. Tom was a 2006 graduate of East Catholic High School and received a Bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude from Western New England College in 2010 and a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England School of Law in 2012. He is a member of both the Connecticut & Massachusetts Bar Associations. Tom had a passion for tennis and fitness and was a member of both the East Catholic & Western New England College Tennis teams. Tom was employed as an in house attorney in the legal department of Aetna Insurance Company in Hartford for almost 5 years, a position that he loved and in which he excelled, receiving multiple awards and honors. Along with Tom's beloved cat Silver, the entire family will forever miss him. We will never forget his warm sense of humor and compelling smile. A memorial service will be held at John F. Tierney Funeral Home at 219 West Center Street on Friday between the hours of 4 & 7 pm with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am at St. James Church, 896 Main Street, Manchester. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow at Grove Hill cemetery in Vernon. Donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society.
