Dolores "Lolly" was called to heaven by the angels November 29th in Largo, FL died peacefully in care of hospice after a courageous three year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Manchester, CT on October 17, 1936 and graduated at Manchester High School class of 1954. After her family was grown she worked as a Paralegal for a local law firm. She and her husband moved to Florida in 1988. She enjoyed traveling the world, cooking and entertaining for family and friends, and for many years organizing the annual Manchester High School reunion in Florida. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Nellie Leone Dubanoski, a brother Joseph Jr. Left to grieve her husband of 60 years Henry, her brother Richard Dubanoski of Kailua, HI, her children Darlene Cavan of Highlands Ranch, CO, Laurie Arel of South Windsor, CT and Robert Berdat of St. Pete Beach, FL, five grandsons Joshua Cavan, Sean Cavan, and Tyler Cavan of Highlands Ranch, CO, Daryn and Devyn Arel of South Windsor, CT. Dolores will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. The John Tierney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with a viewing Wednesday December 6th from 4 to 8pm, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church Thursday December 7th at 10 am. Internment in family plot in St. James Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
