Agnes N. Daniels, 96, of Glastonbury, formerly of Manchester the wife of the late George H. Daniels, Sr. died Friday (September 4, 2009) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in England, she was the daughter of the late John and Ellen (Castle) Nutter. Agnes was a registered nurse at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London and had retired from Hartford Hospital. She is survived by her son George Daniels and his wife Betty of Lakeland, FL; her grandchildren Christopher B. Daniels and his wife Fredi of Cromwell, and Jennifer Lent and her husband Christopher of Columbia. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Dawson Lent, Paige Lent and Dante Daniels, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sisters Winifred McMullen and Alice Donovan. Agnes' family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Salmon Brook for their care and kindness. Funeral service will be held on Thursday (September 10th) at 10:30 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at the Church of the Assumption 27 Adams Street South, Manchester.
