Obituary of Mildred Flandrau

Mrs. Mildred Annette (Peck) Flandrau, 95, entered the gates to Valhalla 29 August, 2009. Born in Plainville, Conn 9 April, 1914. She was an avid Bingo player, loved a good cup of coffee, and a doughnut. Mrs. Flandrau was predeceased by her husband John J. Flandrau (Mai, 1972), her sister Esther (Peck) Hosford, a brother-in-law Melvin W. Hosford, and two brothers Arthur Peck and Raymond Peck. Mrs. Flandrau is survived by her beloved son Arvid J. Flandrau her - surrogate son �" George R. Zack of East Hartford, two brothers Lyman Peck and his wife Arlyne of Manchester, Joseph Peck of New Port Richey Florida, her two favorite nieces, Nancy Lickwan and her husband Deacon Carl Lickwan of South Windsor, Linda Messier and her husband Jim Messier of Vernon, plus other nieces and nephews. A very big heartfelt thanks to Doug & Sue Mathews for the care, support, love for Ma, I thank you both!!! Fur du mein gute mutter, Ich liebe du mit alle mein herz!!! Funeral service will be held on Thursday (September 3rd) 10:30 am at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in Mount Hope Cemetery Main St. Talcottville, Vernon, CT.
