MaryLou Zingler, 64, of Manchester, the wife of Walter F. Zingler, Jr. died Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of Helen Mikulski of Manchester and the late Frank Mikulski, married Walter on July 21, 1972 and had been a life long resident. During the early years of her marriage she operated a daycare from her home, and had worked at Rogers Corp. and Paper Rolls in Glastonbury. MaryLou also was a communicant of St. James Church, enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, and travel - especially to the Caribbean and Florida. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Keith Zingler and his wife Susan of Colchester, and Kevin Zingler and his wife Cynthia of Manchester; her grandchildren Jason and Meghan Zingler of Colchester, and Kyle and Julia Zingler of Manchester; her sisters Joanne Mikulski and Laurie Fay both of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church 896 Main Street, Manchester followed by burial in East Cemetery.
