Kathleen Schilling, 72, of Manchester, beloved wife of Terry W. Schilling died peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her home. Born in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Loretta (Gagne) Lyons. She spent her childhood in Phoenix, AZ before moving back to the east coast in her late teens. After meeting her husband in Chicopee MA, she raised her family, and lived the rest of her life in Manchester CT. She had retired from Razor's Edge Salon in Manchester after many years of service. Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren, knitting, reading and watching the food channel. She loved crafts and projects whether it was knitting an afghan, or baking her son's wedding cake. She just loved making things. In addition to her husband Terry, she is survived by her children Jennifer Schilling of Manchester, Scott Schilling and his wife Mary of Newington, and Timothy Schilling of Manchester; her grandchildren Timmy, Karl, Aris, Gracie, Andrew, Samantha, Payton and Jackson; her sister Loretta Humphrey and her husband T.J. Harrison of Tucson, AZ; her sister-in-law Sue Williams and her husband Roger of Mayville, WI; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. M. Pazooki and his professional staff at the Manchester Oncology Center, along with the nurses and staff of Masonicare Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Church 80 Main St. Manchester, CT. Family and friends may call at the John F.
