Lillian (Krupp) Hartigan, 83, of East Hartford, wife of the late John J. Hartigan, passed away at home on October 9, 2017. Born on November 27, 1933 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Anna and Albert Krupp. She is survived by her children, Michael, Pamela, and Catherine (Brey). Lillian is also survived by her eight grandchildren, two great granddaughters and a great grandson on the way. Lillian will be remembered by her loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Lillian was predeceased by brothers Edward and George and a sister Emily (Warnat). She was retired from Phoenix Mutual Insurance Company as an executive administrative assistant. Lillian was always very active and loved to bowl, golf, ride her bike, dance, and especially loved to work in her yard and home which she was very proud to take care of independently. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Hillside Street, East Hartford, CT, on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at noon. Friends and family are invited to meet at the cemetery prior to burial. John F.
