Gerald "Jerry" T. Nascimento, 79, husband of Adela Nascimento, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Jerry was born in Fall River, MA, the son of Earnest Nascimento Sr. and Adelaide (Rezendes) and grew up in Tiverton, RI. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he worked at Hamilton Sundstrand for thirty-eight years as Sr. Electronic Technician. Besides his wife, Adela, Jerry is survived by his children; Mark Nascimento and Adelaide Devcic and her husband Davor and his grandchildren Arrow Mark Nascimento and Abraham Hawk Devcic. Jerry is also survived by his siblings; Lillian Shore, Earnest Nascimento Jr. and Ricardo Nascimento and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18th at 12:15 p.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at St. James Church, 896 Main St. Manchester, at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial in St. James Cemetery.
