Philip J. Rusconi, 71, the husband of Joan C. Rusconi married 49 years and High School Sweet Hearts died on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at his home in Manchester, surrounded by his family. Philip was born in Manchester the son of the late Ervin and Alba (Rossi) Rusconi and had recently moved back to Manchester. From 1969 until 1996 he and Joan lived in Lebanon and later moved to Tolland. He received his Bachelor's degree from UCONN and his Masters from ECSU. Philip taught science and math at Bacon Academy and went on to be the Founder and CEO of Premier Laboratory of Dayville. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying fishing and hunting; which brought him on extensive travels. Phil enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Uconn Huskies. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons Jacob Rusconi and his fiance Jessica of Manchester and Matt Rusconi and his wife Carrie of Avon; his daughter Lisa Bosworth and her husband Michael of Tolland; his grandchildren Justin and Jared Rusconi and Ada Rusconi; his brother Robert Rusconi and his wife June of FL; cousins Carl Ohlin and Linda Amirault and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held August 22 at 6:00pm the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester.
