Antoinette Joyce "Toni" (Noel) Belmore, 90, of Manchester, beloved wife for 56 years of the late William H. Belmore, passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness. She was born in Bennington, VT and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School in Troy, NY. Upon her marriage, she moved to Glastonbury, CT and later lived in Manchester. After her children were in school, Toni attended Manchester Community College and Eastern Connecticut State University. She worked as a teacher's aide at Keeney Street School in Manchester. An avid reader, she was a dedicated volunteer at the East Glastonbury Public Library (the "Little Red Library"), a position she enjoyed immensely and held for over 20 years. Toni's Catholic faith was very dear to her and was a source of strength, solace and guidance throughout her life. Toni is survived by her two sons, Michael William, and Stephen Lee, Sr. and his wife Mary Geraldine (Shea), all of Manchester, two grandsons, Stephen Lee, Jr. and Christopher William, her sister-in-law, Patricia Macmasters, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her close friends, Natalie Riemitis and Jackie Day, and a dear friend and neighbor, Jane Loshon. Thank you for being so special to Mom. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her mother, Flora Hollister Noel, and her brother, Gerald Noel. The family wishes to thank the amazing nurses, nurse's aides, and others at Masonicare Hospice and Angelic Nursing & Homecare Registry for all they did for our mother in her time of need. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 at St. Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Rd. Glastonbury with burial at Nipsic Cemetery, 1341 Neipsic Road, Glastonbury, to follow. Family and Friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W.
