Obituary of Eva Morra

Eva Robotto Morra, 96, of Vernon, CT passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2017. She was the widow of Gasprin Morra. Eva was born in Staten Island, New York on October 29, 1920, the daughter of the late Paul and Louise Robotto. Eva worked at the Iona and Tyco Industries in Manchester, CT. She was a parishioner of St. Maurice Church in Bolton and various clubs including a lifetime member of the Bolton Regional Lions Club, Bolton Volunteer Fire Dept. Aux., the founding member of the Bolton Girl Scouts and a member of the Bolton Seniors. She was an avid sports fan rooting for her Uconn Huskies, Boston Red Sox, and watching her favorite driver in NASCAR. Eva is survived by her daughter, Denise Budrick and her husband Joseph, of Bolton, CT. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Ronald, Heather, Aimee and great- granddaughter Scarlett. She also leaves her brother, John Robotto and a niece and nephew of Manchester, CT. Eva was predeceased by her son, Ronald Morra. Eva's daughter would like to extend a special thank you to the Vernon Visiting Nurses, her home health aides, and the Vernon Manor for their special care. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 on Wednesday August 9th at St. Maurice Church, Hebron Rd. Bolton, CT. Friends and relatives are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Manchester, CT. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva's name can be made to St. Maurice Church, Bolton Regional Lions Club, or Bolton Volunteer Fire Dept. Aux. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W.
