Mary Patricia (Beene) Melton, 84, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 10, 2017, with her loving family at her side. Born November 3, 1932 in Williamsport, PA, daughter of the late James C. and Marian (Ludden) Beene. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a world traveler and enjoyed life. She is predeceased by her husband Charles H. Melton. They had three children and are survived by her son Richard C. Melton, daughters Karen F. Botticello, Marla A. Greene. She is survived by her brother James C. Beene and niece Debra Alamo. She is predeceased by her two sisters Nancy Beene-Rodriguez and Joanne Ludden. She is survived by her granddaughters Heather Melton, Amber Botticello, grandson Anthony Botticello and her great granddaughter Willow Botticello. Per her request the services will be privately held, under the direction of John F Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center Street, Manchester CT 06040. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Boulevard, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489
