Karin N. Odegard, 77, transitioned from this physical world on June 11, 2017. A quiet woman, Karin was raised on a dairy farm in Minnesota. She moved to Connecticut with her husband in 1963 where she raised her family and remained the rest of her life. Karin realized her life-long dream when acquiring a vintage Saltbox, circa 1790, in Manchester. With no running water, horsehair plaster walls, three fireplaces and a "birthing room", the home was slowly restored to its original glory and Karin lived there joyfully until just shortly before her death. Karin loved nature, the outdoors, gardening, flowers (weeds are just flowers in disguise) and all animals, most especially kitties. Karin provided a loving home for well over 50 kitties during her time here! Karin is now watching over her children and grandchildren, the kid's spouses, three sisters and a brother who would all like to invite you to A Celebration of Life in Karin's honor.
