Obituary of Barry P. O'Neill
Barry O'Neill, 55, son of the late Philip A. O'Neill and Charlotte O'Neill Haberern died from metastatic Melanoma on Sunday May 7, 2017 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
Barry graduated from Manchester High School and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Connecticut. He was a passionate educator, teaching English and history in Glastonbury and was a school administrator in Somers and Wallingford.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melissa (Beisley) O'Neill, a son Connor O'Neill both of Manchester; a daughter Madeleine O'Neill and her boyfriend Christopher Frey of Rolla, Missouri; a dear mother-in-law, Dottie (Beisley) Enloe and two faithful German Shepard dogs, Eva and Tenzin.
Besides his parents, Barry was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Charlotte O'Neill and a stepfather, William M. Haberern, Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held for Barry on Saturday May 13th at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St. Manchester, at 10:00 a.m. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Barry was particularly affected by Madeleine's diagnosis of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
